Inflection Point Ventures invests $300k in pre series A of D2C dairy startup

Happy Nature, a direct to consumer breakfast brand, has recently secured $300,000 in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). This investment will enable Happy Nature to further expand its mission of providing high-quality, ethically sourced milk, dairy, and breakfast essential products to its customers.

Vikas Singh, CEO of Happy Nature, says that with this infusion, the company will strategically expand sales through impactful ATL and BTL activations. The company aims to utilize the funds for branding, technology upgrades, processing plant enhancements, and geographical expansion. Happy Nature hopes to strengthen its sales and marketing efforts while enhancing customer engagement initiatives.

Commenting on the deal, Rahul Wagh, Managing Director of Inflection Point Ventures, highlights Happy Nature’s tech-enabled platform that helps farmers sell their products to newer catchment areas. The company currently serves over 1,00,000 customers with over 15,000 orders processed daily, operating in cities such as Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, and others.

Happy Nature focuses on India’s dairy industry, addressing challenges faced by small farmers by providing them access to resources and markets. It also offers 100% clean label and preservative-free products through a convenient subscription and delivery model, aiming to preserve the dairy way of life while ensuring the mutual benefit of farmers and consumers.

Inflection Point Ventures, the lead investor, has a track record of investing over Rs 600 crore across 190+ deals. The firm supports new-age entrepreneurs and recently launched a $50 million CAT 2 AIF Physis Capital to invest in pre-Series A to Series B growth-stage start-ups.

Happy Nature aims to achieve an annual revenue of Rs 1,500 crore in the next five years by targeting a Serviceable Addressable Market of 55 million households and capturing a Serviceable Obtainable Market of 3,00,000 households.
