30-year-old earns $22,000/month in passive income from her side business with only 2 hours of work per day.

DomoINK, a successful art and home decor brand that has garnered up to $267,000 per year in sales. The brand, which was started as a side hustle by Domonique Brown in April 2020, has since blossomed into a successful art and home decor brand, bringing in an impressive $22,000 a month in passive income from online sales through its website, Etsy, Society6, and major retailers like Target and Home Goods. Brown has also collaborated with major brands like Disney, Samsung, Lowe’s and Dr. Martens, and continues to grow her brand.

What’s remarkable is that Brown spends just two hours a day on DomoINK while pursuing a remote job as an interactive designer. Her schedule offers flexibility, with most of her time allocated towards her full-time job and DomoINK. She uses her mornings to answer customer inquiries and participates in various activities throughout the week to keep a creative workflow. She creates social media content on Mondays, tackles editing tasks on Tuesdays, works on new art pieces and films the process on Wednesdays, and dedicates Thursdays to acquiring new skills. She also carves out time for herself on weekends, either by taking some time off or pursuing new artistic skills as well.

Brown’s work has contributed to the Black History Month collections at Target, and she is set to launch a collaboration with Walmart in 2024. She dreams of having her pieces exhibited in museums, with the aim of inspiring other young Black creatives.
