Animal’, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol, crosses ₹100 crore mark in just 2 days

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 3 (ANI): The action thriller film ‘Animal’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol continues to dominate the box office, entering the Rs 100 crore club in India in just 2 days.

After a strong opening, ‘Animal’ earned an impressive Rs 58.37 crore in Hindi on its second day, bringing the total Hindi collection to Rs 113.12 crore Nett in India. In all languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam), the film has minted Rs 131.07 crore Nett in India.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Instagram to share the news, calling ‘Animal’ a box office monster and emphasizing its outstanding response across metros, non-metros, and mass pockets. He stated that the film’s Day 3 business would rank it among the biggest opening weekend scorers of all time. ‘Animal’ has also emerged as Ranbir Kapoor’s career biggest opener.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandana, Shakti Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri. It portrays the complex father-son relationship between Anil and Ranbir Kapoor’s characters, with Ranbir’s character displaying protectiveness and obsession for his father’s love, threatening anyone who challenges it.

The 3 hour-21-minute-long film was released in 5 languages- Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. (ANI)
