Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd has announced a standalone profit after tax of Rs 294.8 crore for the three months ended September 30, 2023. This figure marks an increase from the Rs 279.1 crore reported during the same quarter last year. The half-year period ended September 30, 2023, saw a standalone profit after tax of Rs 508.9 crore, a decrease from the Rs 612.3 crore registered in the same period the year before.
On a standalone basis, the total income for the quarter rose to Rs 1,931.1 crore from Rs 1,758.5 crore in the previous year. For the six-month period ended September 30, 2023, the standalone total income grew to Rs 3,637.3 crore against Rs 3,298.7 crore in the same period last year.
Apollo Hospitals has announced an expansion plan involving a capital outlay of approximately Rs 3,400 crore. The plan includes the addition of 2,300 beds across eight locations over the next three financial years. The company intends to finance this expansion through internal accruals and debt financing in line with the objective to expand its footprint and cater to the growing demand for healthcare services.
