BJP leaders claim Modi’s guarantees secure victory as party dominates state elections

BJP Leaders Hail Modi’s Guarantees as Party Looks Set for Victory in Rajasthan, MP and Chhattisgarh Elections

New Delhi: The BJP is celebrating a projected victory in the Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh assembly elections, with party leaders attributing the win to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guarantees. According to BJP leader and Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, the election results show that people have embraced Modi’s promise of delivering on guarantees. Joshi also took a dig at the Congress, stating that the people’s blessing of the BJP and endorsement of PM Modi’s leadership reject the false promises made by Congress.

Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and BJP leader Raman Singh concurred, saying that the people have reposed their trust in Modi’s guarantees and voted in support of Modi’s work over the past nine-and-half years. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan credited Modi’s aggressive campaign ahead of the assembly election for the party’s performance.

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje attributed the party’s victory to Modi’s efforts to bring everyone together. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hailed the party’s win as a result of PM Modi’s guidance, while Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur suggested that the victory was an indicator of what is to come in 2024. In Chhattisgarh, the BJP’s manifesto titled ‘Modi ki Guarantee 2023′ promised several initiatives, including financial assistance to married women, government jobs, and affordable cooking gas cylinders for poor families.

Modi’s guarantees have been a central theme of the BJP’s campaign, with the Prime Minister assuring the public that all promises will be fulfilled. During rallies, Modi contrasted his guarantees with what he described as the lack of certainty from the Congress. The BJP’s emphasis on Modi’s guarantees contrasts with the Congress’ promises during past elections, with the party attempting to replicate a similar approach in various states.

In light of the BJP’s projected victory, the focus has turned to the party’s ability to deliver on its promises and the implications for future elections. The race amongst political parties to offer freebies to voters has also sparked a debate about the burden on the state exchequer. As the BJP celebrates its victories, leaders are pointing to Modi’s guarantees as a driving force behind the party’s success.
