Hero MotoCorp records a 26.5% increase in October sales with 5,74,930 units sold.

Hero MotoCorp, a leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced a significant increase in sales for the month of October 2023. The company reported a 26.5% rise in total sales, reaching 574,930 units compared to 454,582 units in the same period last year.

According to a regulatory filing, Hero MotoCorp sold 529,341 motorcycles in October 2023, showing a growth of 26.2% in comparison to 419,568 units sold in October 2022. Additionally, scooter sales also witnessed a substantial increase of 30.2%, with 45,589 units sold as opposed to 35,014 units in the same month last year.

Export figures also displayed a positive trend, as two-wheeler exports experienced a 29% growth in October 2023, reaching 15,164 units compared to 11,757 units in the corresponding period of the previous year.

In an exciting development, Hero MotoCorp started delivering its first co-developed premium motorcycle, the Harley-Davidson X440, during the Navratri festival. As part of a massive deliveries drive, a total of 1,000 units were successfully sold across 100 dealerships in India.

Looking ahead, Hero MotoCorp anticipates a continued surge in demand thanks to its recent product launches in the premium segment and the ongoing festive season. The company remains optimistic about the market outlook and is confident in meeting the evolving customer requirements.
