Karan Johar Reveals Details of Fight with Kareena Kapoor Khan

In a surprising revelation, filmmaker Karan Johar recollects his fall-out with actress Kareena Kapoor Khan during the days of Kal Ho Na Ho. The two friends had a serious fight that led to them not talking to each other for more than nine months. However, they have since reconciled and are now extremely close, their friendship stronger than ever.
During a recent episode of Koffee with Karan, Karan Johar opened up about the rift with Kareena Kapoor Khan. He shared, “One was with Kareena way back in 2003, we didn’t speak for a year and half. It was over a film, it was over Kal Ho Na Ho and it was only when my father was diagnosed with cancer that actually she called me, she was silent, I was silent. She was like I don’t know what to say, I said, don’t say anything, I know you are there.”
Karan had earlier detailed the rift in his autobiography, An Unsuitable Boy. He revealed that Kareena had asked for an exorbitant amount of money for the film Kal Ho Naa Ho, causing a fallout. Despite being hurt, their friendship has now been rekindled, with the duo even partying together and working in several movies including Good Newwz, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, and others.
