Lewiston, Maine – A tragic mass shooting at two businesses has left at least 22 people dead and 50-60 more injured, according to NBC News. The incident occurred in the city of Lewiston, located in south-central Maine.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office reported that a suspect is currently at large. In a photo shared by the police, the gunman can be seen entering an establishment with a weapon raised to his shoulder. Thanks to the quick response of the staff at Legends Sports Bar and Grill, all 25 customers and employees were moved to safety and kept away from the doors. The owner of the establishment expressed shock over the incident, stating, “I just feel numb.”
