Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Krrish 3’ previously held the record for the highest Diwali day collection, but ‘Tiger 3’ has now surpassed it to become Khan’s biggest opener since his 2019 film ‘Bharat’, which earned Rs 42.30 crore on its first day.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, ‘Tiger 3’ continues the story of RA&W agent Tiger and ISI agent Zoya, played by Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif respectively. Prior to the film’s release, Salman Khan revealed in an interview that the bike chasing scene was the most challenging aspect of the ‘Tiger 3’ shoot. He also expressed his excitement for the release of the film, saying, “Audiences have a connection with Tiger, they have followed his journey, they feel a connection with the characters and this time around the film is more personal, more emotional.”
